Its headquarter is based in Calabasas, California. The Cheesecake Factory has a large and diverse menu of 18 pages with over 200 dishes. Their special cheesecakes are also outsourced in many bakeries.
It was first opened as a bakery in Los Angeles, California in 1972 and then in 1978 as a restaurant in Beverly Hills, California by David Overton. The main idea behind opening the cheesecake factory was based on David’s childhood memory where his mother Evelyn Overton used to sell the “original” cheesecake locally.
