Panera Bread is an American Found Café-Bakery chain Restaurants. It operates only in the United States of America and Canada with over 2000 Branches. Its headquarters is based in Sunset Hills, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Their menu is based on their special bakery items, pasta, salads, sandwiches, soups, and specialty drinks. It offers a wide variety of bakery items like bagels, brownies, cookies, croissants, muffins, and scones.
The company was previously known as St. Louis Bread Company was founded in 1987 by ken and Linda. A few years later in 1993, the company was purchased by Au Bon Pain. After 4 years, in 1997, the new owners changed its name to Panera Bread Company based on the Italian phrases pane (bread) and era (time). With time, the company got famous due to its freshness of meals, and many sub-outlets were opened. Panera Bread moved its headquarters to Richmond Heights, Missouri in 2000 and then in 2010 to Sunset Hills.
