McDonald’s is one of the biggest fast-food chains with its franchises all over the world. Its burgers and other food items sell out like a hot cake. For people with Celiac disease, there is no separate gluten-free menu offered by McDonald’s but still, you can enjoy some meals that become technically gluten-free like lettuces wraps, etc. but even if you select items without gluten, a shared environment for meal prep can be a cause of cross-contamination. Therefore before ordering, one should let their server know about their allergies.

McDonald’s History
McDonald’s was founded on April 15, 1955, by two brothers in Richard and Maurice McDonald.it was first opened as a small drive-thru in San Bernardino, California. At that time they had a limited menu of 25 items including burgers and desserts. Their most sold item was their hamburgers that led to make it their main food item to focus on. McDonald’s started their restaurant as a burger joint that later converted into a whole franchise.
With their continuous hard work and consistency of quality, their small business idea has now turned into the largest fast-food chain in the world with over 37,855 franchises across 117 countries. Their headquarters is based in Chicago, Illinois; U.S. McDonald is currently operated under McDonald’s Corporation.
